It was so cold at Santa's Village! We had
some hot chocolate to warm ourselves, then
Will & Alex had their picture made with
Frosty. Once again, Sophie was not going
anywhere close!









After visiting with Frosty, the kids went into
Mrs. Claus' kitchen to decorate their very own
Gingerbread Man!

We visited Santa's Village on the 14th and
had a really good time!

The kids enjoyed seeing all of the displays
and lights, played in the Candy Cane Garden,
and had their picture made with Mrs. Claus!

One of our favorite photos is the kids as
ornaments on the Christmas tree!

We met with some friends from church to make
Gingerbread Houses on Thursday, 12/13. One of
my newest friends, Kathleen was there with her
little ones, Patrick & Claire.

As you can see, I was very serious about
decorating our little house. But it did turn
out really cute, if I do say so myself!

On Wednesday the 12th, Matt & the kids treated me
to The Macaroni Grill for my birthday! Aaron, Johnna,
and Catherine joined us! It was a fun time!
After dinner, we took Will, Alex & Sophie to see Santa
at the mall. As you can see, only Will & Alex made it...
Sophie wasn't going anywhere near him!

We managed to get Sophie to enjoy the Carousel. She did not like it at all when I
first put her on the horse, but once we started moving she really had a good time.

On Saturday, we made our annual trip to the Fantasy of Trees! It's a benefit held every year to raise money for Children's Hospital. I had to get a photo of Gran with the kids next to the gates of Graceland!!

We really had a fun time looking at all of the beautiful decorations!
Sophie wasn't sure what to think, but Alex was there to tell her all about it!

Our final stop was dinner at O'Charley's!
Thanks, Gran! We had a wonderful time!!

After the show, Alex found all sorts of beautiful Christmas decorations & decided she should have her photo taken with many of them! However, I did have to bribe her to stand close to the bear. It looked so real!!

The Friday night after Thanksgiving, Gran treated Alex to her first trip to see "The Nutcracker". I did get to tag along. We had a wonderful time & Alex was just amazed throughout the entire performance. Afterwards, we met up with Tasha (who was in the show) to give her a special gift. However, Alex was most excited about having her picture made with one of the main performers...still in her costume!

While we were there, Papaw had been burning leaves so Will decided we needed to roast marshmallows! So of course, we roasted marshmallows & even made S'mores! Delicious!
Sophie just ate the cold marshmallows!

Alex decided she would help Papaw rake the leaves while Will spent his time looking for worms. However, when he heard they could jump into the giant pile of leaves, he decided he would help, too. Sophie took full advantage of being the baby & just played!
